Titus Project South Africa
Titus Project South Africa focuses how to teach in the continent of Africa from urban townships to rural villages! We have sent teams to: South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana, Mozambique, Rwanda, Swaziland, and Zambia. Our students have a love for Africa and a desire to help disciple a continent that has been largely evangelized but needs more teaching.
Several of the outreaches have launched longer partnerships and pioneering projects. We have a partnership and staff exchange program with the SBS in Arusha Tanzania. We have run one feild-based Titus Project there as well! We have adopted Botswana as a nation and our goal here is to see a YWAM work established in one of Africa's most successful nations. Recently, Muizenberg was named the resource hub for SBS in Africa, which helps us stay connected to the other programs on the continent.
South Africa is a land of contrasts, from extreme wealth to extreme poverty. Living in one of the world's youngest democracies gives our students and staff the unique abililty to be involved in local outreaches that can have an impact on molding a nation. Our staff are able to participate in ministry at orphanages, to refugees, as well as teaching opportunities in influential sites such as police stations. We hope to begin Bible studies in one of the largest prisons in South Africa shortly.
A glimpse of what life in Muizenberg is like is defined by our values, using words like: Grace Focused, Commited to Discipleship, Team/Tribe, Living a Balanced Life, and Being Africa Focused
