Titus South Africa Update

9/11/2015

The Titus South Africa outreach teams are debriefing this week and God did some amazing things!

1.In Zimbabwe there are two tribes that hate each other. One man had his entire family killed by the opposing tribe. When hearing the forgiveness from Philemon from a 19 year old girl Titus team member, this man stood up and challenged his entire tribe that they needed to forgive the other. Powerful! Who says a young girl cant teach? NOT TITUS PROJECT!

2. A man in South Africa was set free when we talked about "historical background" of Philemon and how slavery was different than our perspective. He said how he had always struggled with the passages about slavery in the Bible. He thought God was for white people owning black slaves because of verse like "submit to your masters". As we talked about how the Bible isn't written to us and its not the same slavery as what we think of - learning these truths and how God is actually not for slavery He literally started jumping up and down. He called his family and friends after the teaching to tell them what he had learned. God is good!

3. Zimbabwe team had a Church service where the sick was invited for the team to pray for them. The team was a bit hesitant but prayed all the same, and person after person got healed! Every person that came up received immediate healing. Nice!

Just a few stories to share when they had so many more. Titus project is awesome!
