Titus Project is dedicated to equipping the body of Christ throughout the world in the Word of God.
To accomplish this, we develop School of Biblical Studies’ graduates in teaching and preaching,
and mobilize them into areas where Bible training is greatly needed.
Vision:
Titus Project was born out of a vision to bring Bible training to areas of the world where there is great need, great hunger, and limited opportunity to receive Bible training otherwise. Our heart is to serve the Body of Christ around the world by being a resource that provides helpful training for church leaders & other believers in the Word of God, passing along tools to help them more effectively study God's Truth for themselves and then in turn pass that along to those to whom they minister to. |
Target Audience:
We feel called to target pastors, church leaders, church planters, and potential leaders with teaching and training, as we feel we can be most effective with this as a focus. Not only does this audience generally have a great desire to study God’s Word, they also have a platform from which they can pass along what they have learned to their congregations/home groups. However, our heart is to also serve the larger body of Christ, and we are open to teaching a diverse audience in a wide variety of settings. Example:
If you have people who want to be further equipped in God’s Word, then let us know how we can help to be a resource for you! |
Team Size:
Titus teams usually consist of 2-5 people per team. Teaching Goals: We hope for each person to be as well-utilized in teaching/preaching as possible. We understand that in several locations ministry is still being pioneered, the churches may still be young and/or small, long-term workers may be few and already over-worked, translators may be difficult to find, and that the local people still need to go about their everyday life – whether that is working a city job or harvesting a rice field. With that said, our goal is to be able to invest into people as much as we possibly can and we aim for EACH team member to teach a minimum of 6-12 hours per week, if possible. |
Training:
Each Titus team member has graduated from Youth with A Mission’s (YWAM) School of Biblical Studies (SBS). We believe the SBS has equipped them with a broad foundation in the Word of God from which they can serve in ministering to and equipping others. Teaching Qualifications: Titus Project provides basic training in teaching and preaching before sending team members out to the field. The training portion of Titus Project is brief, but intense, and we make it as practical as possible. Team members will vary in their ability and we try to release each one accordingly, while encouraging increasing growth in ability and effectiveness for all of us. |
